Zoë Simpson Dean, MA, MFT
Zoë is a Marriage and Family Psychotherapist who works with children, adolescents, adults, and families. She offers a supportive and thoughtful space to explore challenges, relationships, and patterns of experience. Zoë approaches therapy as a co-created process grounded in curiosity, care, and respect.
Her work is integrative, evidence-informed, and guided by systemic, relational, and attachment-based perspectives. She draws from both insight-oriented, reflective approaches and solution-focused, goal-oriented methods such as Narrative Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Play Therapy to support each client’s growth.
Zoë earned her MA in Couples and Family Therapy from Alliant International University, California School of Professional Psychology, a COAMFTE-accredited program. She also holds a master’s in Planning from the University of Southern California with a concentration in social justice, and a bachelor’s in Geography and Urban Studies from Temple University.
Before entering the field of psychotherapy, Zoë worked in the entertainment industry and then in nonprofit community outreach and advocacy roles. These experiences deepened her appreciation for people’s unique stories and continue to shape her collaborative approach to her work as a therapist.
