Eleanor Reinhold

Eleanor works with individuals and couples from a person-centered, relational perspective. She has previously worked with patients from a range of backgrounds, experiences, and motivations for therapy. She values building a therapeutic alliance through deep empathic listening, unconditional positive regard, and genuine interest.

Eleanor incorporates a variety of modalities into her sessions, combining psychodynamic interventions with evidence based treatments. She draws from dialectic and cognitive behavioral therapy approaches when appropriate, and enjoys incorporating Gottman interventions into treatment with couples. Above all, Eleanor supports her clients in drawing closer to the life they want to live.

Eleanor holds her Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology at Yeshiva University.
